Dr. Vikas Mittle graduated from New York University in 1999. He completed his post graduate education at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in 2003. Dr. Mittle furthered his education at the University of Maryland Periodontal Specialty Program. Upon completion of his studies at the University of Maryland, he became Board-Certified in Periodontics. Dr. Mittle recognizes that every patient’s case is unique.  He is passionate about providing personalized, thorough treatment in a relaxed patient-centric atmosphere. Dr. Mittle has a  gentle, confident approach making our patients feel so comfortable, knowing they are in safe, competent hands. He strongly believes in the mouth-body relationship and treats not only oral health but overall body health. Open communication is very important to Dr. Mittle; he and the restorative dentists at the Linsky Dental Group work very closely together under one roof to provide the best, comprehensive dental care possible. Dr. Mittle has been with the Linsky Dental Group team for  eight years  and has long-standing relationships with our patients as a specialist. He utilizes the latest technological advances in dentistry to treat all phases of periodontal disease. He specializes in performing efficient, non-surgical, non-invasive procedures as well as surgical procedures such as implants, bone-grafting, crown lengthening and extractions.

Dr. Mittle is married and lives with his wife, also an MD, specializing in Neonatology. They have two baby daughters and live on Long Island’s North Shore. Dr. Mittle is an active sports enthusiast and plays tennis, baseball and football. He also enjoys hiking in the Adirondacks with his wife and exploring NYC’s neighborhoods, new restaurants and the city’s cultural life.
